When it comes to residential window films, 3M offers a lifetime warranty on most applications. This mean that 3M, one of America’s most-trusted brands, will back its film for as long as you live in your home.

3M’s residential window films can last up to 20 years with proper care, so although you’re covered by warranty protection, your films typically won’t need to be changed more than once every 15 to 20 years.

Similarly, most automotive films come with a lifetime, non-transferable warranty. This includes many of 3M’s most automotive films, like Crystalline, Color Stable and Ceramic series options. It doesn’t, however, apply to every 3M film. Be sure to discuss this with your installer before you choose a film.
